 I was hoping this was a simple fix for my needs but it wouldn\'t work with my mpg file. Told me to download another converter program. Don\'t have time for all the hassle. Will be uninstalling the programs.

 Hang Up SoftWare I appreciate this video editing application for its intuitive interface. I especially like the individual panels that can be resized and moved around at will. Sadly, while evaluating the performance of Video Edit Magic it wouldn't display the video image if I moved the timeline cursor to a new position. Is it because the video file was too large and in the mpeg format? If so, this needs correcting. To suggest a file conversion from mpeg to avi also diminishes my appreciation. Why? Conversion is very time consuming.But the main reason why I will not buy this software at ...

I'm still using the demo version to get a feel for it, but I've already decided I'll purchase. I'm already familiar with FileMaker Pro's interface so my learning curve has been very slight. I like LivingTime's functionality - it does exactly what I wanted it to do: create a timeline of historical events. Aesthetically, it's not great - the text/graphics are pretty rough (though I concede, that's probably a FileMaker Pro limitation). Still, most web sites are more aesthetically pleasing... Nevertheless, it suits me and I thank you for offering it!
